Joint report with research & barriers to inclusion
The joint report provides a concise overview of essential findings and action plans from all partner countries. It offers a comprehensive analysis of inclusion needs – drawing upon statistical data, perspectives from migrants and local stakeholders – and exemplifying effective policies and practices already in place. Additionally, the report presents valuable recommendations for further enhancements in this domain.
“Schools as Inclusive hubs” Toolkit
The “Schools as Inclusive Hubs” Toolkit encompasses all the essential steps and information needed for schools to operate as inclusive hubs, drawing from the outcomes of WP2, exemplary practices, and inclusion policies. Key sections include a) the framework and evidence supporting the concept of schools as inclusive hubs, b) practical planning and operational tips, c) community engagement strategies, d) peer learning and support, e) establishing a common vision and objectives, and f) addressing operational issues for efficient implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
The Curriculum is a comprehensive set of modules designed to cater to the specific needs of school staff and cultural mediators. It consists of two sections—one for school staff and another for cultural mediators. Each module is designed with flexibility in mind, accommodating the participation of all migrant families. The modules vary in duration and can be delivered in different modes. The Curriculum focuses on inclusive education, intercultural mediation, language learning for migrants, and promoting health, wellbeing, and resilience. It aims to empower educators and mediators to effectively support migrant students and create an inclusive learning environment.
Policy Paper
The Policy Paper addresses issues, gaps, and action calls identified during the project’s implementation. It will cover concerns related to migrants’ inclusion based on research findings (WP2) with migrants, educators, and local actors. It will recommend actions to enhance the inclusion of migrant families in schools and society. and it will be distributed to key policymakers, stakeholders, and authorities to influence inclusion systems in partner countries positively.
